An auto accident involving 6 vehicles caused injury to at least 10 victims in Orlando yesterday. Two major streets, Lake Underhill and Goldenrod, were shut down for more than an hour while dozens of rescuers and police officers treated the wounded and investigated the accident.
It was reported that the accident was caused by one of the drivers who experienced a medical emergency and then crossed into on-coming traffic, where he struck two vehicles head-on. The impact pushed these three vehicles into three others, resulting in over 10 victims being treated by emergency personnel.
FHP reports indicate charges are pending.
