A Tampa school was ordered to pay $4 million by a jury as the result of a young man having his arm broken by a bully during a football game. The jury found that the private Hillel School in Tampa should have provided better supervision for Danny Heidenberg. Danny had his arm broken in a football game in early 2004 and suffered permanent damage. He likely will not be able to become a surgeon like both his parents. The jury found that the injury was a result of not enough supervision by the school faculty, especially since the parents had mentioned the bullying to administrators earlier in the school year.
