The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of the most popular attractions at Universal Studios. The theme park is enjoying a flurry of attention from the fans of the wizardry franchise. Both Muggles and pro-athletes cannot resist the magical world of Harry Potter. Former Red Sox knuckleballer Charlie Zink had a great time at Universal Studios with his fiancé. Unfortunately, the trip to Hogwarts cost Zink an injury and five months of recovery.

Zink spent eight seasons in the Red Sox organization but was then demoted to the minors by the Cardinals. Zink spent time rehabbing from a shoulder surgery during spring training in Florida. He had a three-day weekend on his hands and wanted to do something fun with his fiancé, so they decided to visit the brand new Harry Potter theme ride at Universal Studios. Zink admits he went on many rides that day, but his neck specifically started to hurt on the Harry Potter theme ride. After the theme park adventure Zink had to have an MRI done on his neck and found out he had a bulging disc.

Five months later, Zink is fully recovered from both his shoulder surgery and Harry Potter theme ride injury. He recently signed a contract with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League. Zink said that several teams were hesitant to sign him due to his surgery, but were still interested in seeing him throw knuckleballers. Zink says his arm feels great and despite the neck injury, he loved the amusement park ride. An Orlando injury lawyer can provide guidance if you have been injured while visiting one of the many theme parks in Florida.
