It’s being reported that a South Carolina state amusement ride inspector falsified a safety report and never tested the children’s train ride, due to a dead battery. Whether or not that was the train, which crashed, is unknown at this time.

Rightfully so, now more than ever, does the public have a right to question the safety of any amusement ride in South Carolina. It also begs the obvious question, what else has this agency overlooked?
