A little boy, only 4 years-old, tragically lost his life last Friday night in a car driven by his 23 year-old mother. The young boy was riding in the front seat of a Ford Contour, unfortunately not wearing his seatbelt, when his mother lost control of the vehicle. The car left her lane of traffic, travelled across into the opposite lane, and struck another vehicle.
The driver and two other passengers were taken to a local hospital, along with the young boy who died about two hours later.
If only every parent would buckle each and every child on every trip in the car, maybe, just maybe, one more young life could be saved.
