Drunk driving is the suspected cause of a single-car crash at the intersection of US 17 and Cherry Street in Seville. Authorities said that when they arrived at the scene, they could smell the alcohol, but did not know how much had been consumed. The driver lost control of her 2007 Nissan Altima at 3:30 in the morning as she was approaching a curve. The vehicle lost control and skidded North, before careening into a billboard post and a building. The car then overturned. At least one of the passengers in the car died. It is important to never drink and drive and to always have a designated driver when going out for drinks. The consequences can be tragic and far reaching, not just for the driver, but for the passengers and the families of all involved.
