The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating a car accident involving a school bus and another car, according to News 4 in Jacksonville. The accident occurred on State Road 16 east of I-95 in St. Augustine at approximately 8 a.m. on October 20.

The car and bus collided with each other and according to reports, none of the students on the bus needed medical attention. According to the St. John’s County Sherriff’s Office both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital. Three students reported minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

It is not fair to jump to conclusions before a complete investigation, but do you think whichever driver is at fault should be held to a higher standard because of the involvement of the bus and young children?
