Three Orlando drivers were rushed to the hospital in a four-car crash on December 22, according to WFTV.com in Orlando. Two armed robbery suspects caused the car accident as they fled from police. 21-year-old Darrius Lowe and 20-year-old David Williams were leaving the scene of a home invasion, weaving through traffic at speeds up to 70 miles per hour, according to police reports.

“They fled of the own volition, at high rates of speed,” said Orange County Officer Jeff Williamson. “Our feeling is that what they thought was a law enforcement aircraft [they believed was following them].”

The men collided with three other vehicles on Colonial Drive and Orange Avenue near the I-4 interchange. Three of the four victims—who were not identified—were rushed to the hospital. A fourth refused treatment.

Both suspects are currently in police custody. Have you or a loved one been injured or killed in a car accident?
