Four members of an Central Florida family were killed in a terrific car crash on August 6. The police had a suspect who denied responsibility for the auto accident. The driver of the vehicle and his two passengers all denied being the driver and all refused to cooperate and tell the police who was driving. They refused to cooperate even in this case where 4 people died including an infant. The police would have little hope of proving who was at fault-and liable for vehicular manslaughter-without the aide of modern forensic evidence. Now, even without the testimony of anyone in the car the police can prove through DNA evidence who was the driver of the car.
