A 10 year-old Miami boy had his foot severed and his 19 year-old uncle received a broken leg in a hit and run.  They were hit  by another personal watercraft yesterday in Miami.  The two watercrafts were at Bear Cut in Key Biscayne Bay when they ran into one another.  Then, according to the Coast Guard, the driver of the hit and run watercraft drove off and left them.   Had it not been for a good Samaritan nearby who called the Coast Guard, the two may have drowned due to their injuries.

If you have any information about this hit and run incident, you should call the Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-8477.  All calls can be made anonomously.
