A new wave of recalls on Wednesday brought defective products to the forefront again on Wednesday.   Chinese-made children’s toys once again tested positive for lead paint.  This round of recalls was the second for the “Thomas the Train” line of toys.  Also affected were the “Knights of the Sword” line, child gardening tools sold at Target, toy rakes and jewelry from Jo-Ann stores, TJ Maxx, and even the restaurant Cracker Barrel.  Officials expect new recalls in the coming days and weeks as a result of more extensive testing of all products, but especially Chinese toys.  Hopefully, we are able to catch these dangerous conditions early, and no family has to face the death of an innocent child.
