A child riding his bike to Conway Middle School was hit when the momentum from an auto collision carried two cars into his path.  Apparently one of the cars was speeding as it traveled North on  Dixie Belle Drive.  That car ran the red light on Lake Margaret Drive, and collided with another vehicle in the intersection.  The momentum from the car crash carried one of the cars onto the sidewalk and into the kid’s path, sending him to the hospital.  It is important to know that those affected by careless driving or not obeying traffic signals can often include those not involved in the original auto accident.  Therefore, it is important to always drive defensively in order to protect not only yourself, but also innocent bystanders.
