A woman driving a Honda south near UCF in Orlando rear ended another car in a minor crash. No problem until she left the scene in a hit and run. The car that was hit chased the woman until she crashed her car into a tree. What was a minor accident subject to a careless driving ticket may result in jail time for leaving the scene and reckless driving in leaving the scene. Thus a simple auto accident is now a crime that may result in jail time.
