The American Association for Justice conducted a recent poll showing Americans are very concerned  about corporate misconduct in causing personal injuries.  Most Americans  support a strong civil justice system to ensure that corporations are held responsible when they injure people as a result of negligence or other corporate misconduct.   Survey results include that:

Americans are nervous about our country’s future.  Worry about corporate misdeeds is one of the major causes of this concern.  There are many “Worried swing voters,” who believe corporate irresponsibility is a huge issue and may affect upcoming election results.

Citizens believe our judicial system is an important remedy for corporate negligence and other misdeeds.  Most voters reject changing laws to restrict consumers’ ability to hold corporations accountable for the personal injuries they cause.

Citzens will vote for  candidates who protect our judicial system of justice over candidates who falsely cry about  “frivolous lawsuits” and demand corporate welfare in the form of “tort reform.”  Surprisingly, the voters that support Pro-civil justice candidates include large numbers of Republicans.
