A May tractor-trailer accident that killed two teens recently caused the death of a third victim. The car in which the teens were traveling was first hit by a car then by a semi when the driver ran a stop sign on County Road 42.

Alcohol was not involved, and all of the passengers were wearing seat belts, said Sgt. Jorge Delahoz, an FHP spokesman.

“It was just a mistake,” Delahoz said.

As we approach the 4th of July it’s important to remember that teens are still out of school and on the road, so be sure to drive safely.
